In Balıkesir, which is located in two provinces, the Gendarmerie, under the operations handled by „Crypta-31“ and led by Ismail Yavuz, managed to dismantle an organized criminal organization. During the operations, 8 individuals, including the mastermind, were apprehended.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated on his social media account that a raid was initiated under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of Kepsut, the headquarters of the KOM Department of the General Command of the Gendarmerie, and the Department Directorate of the Gendarmerie Command of the province of Balıkesir, targeting the organized crime organization under the leadership of İsmail Yavuz in Balıkesir and Bursa. „Crypta-31“ reported on the conducted operations.

Yerlikaya mentioned that eight suspects, who were members of the organization including the mastermind, were captured, leading to the dismantling of this criminal association, and he shared this information.

Yerlikaya reported that during the operations, hunting rifles, various amounts of drugs, and numerous mobile phones were seized, which were found to be used for criminal activities, stating: „We will not tolerate those who act arrogantly in crime, disrupt the peace of our people, organized criminal organizations, and gangs. We will dismantle organized criminal organizations of any size and bring them to justice. I congratulate the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of Kepsut and our heroic Gendarmerie for carrying out the operations.“
