Historische Arçelik- und Beko-Entscheidung von Koç
Arçelik, a part of the Koç Group, has announced that in line with its globalization strategy, its corporate brand will now be known as Beko in all regions, including Turkey. Arçelik A.Ş. has stated that its corporate brand is now Beko and has informed the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) about it. The statement emphasized that this is part of a globalization strategy and included the following information: „As part of our globalization strategy, the corporate brand of Arçelik A.Ş. will be known as Beko in all regions, including Turkey, aiming to bring our employees and operations around the world together under a common corporate brand.“ Additionally, the corporate titles of our foreign subsidiaries will also be expanded to include the Beko brand. In Turkey, our company operates under Arçelik Pazarlama A.Ş., which will continue with all its brands that create local value, especially Arçelik (Arçelik, Beko, Grundig, Altus, Leisure). Beko operates globally through its subsidiaries in 57 countries with 55,000 employees and has 45 production facilities in 13 countries (Turkey, England, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Poland, South Africa, Russia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, and China). Beko operates worldwide with 22 product brands that the company either owns or has limited brand usage rights for (Arçelik, Beko, Whirlpool**, Grundig, Hotpoint, Arctic, Ariston**, Leisure, Indesit, Blomberg, Defy, Dawlance, Hitachi**, Voltas Beko, Singer**, ElektraBregenz, Flavel, Bauknecht, Privileg, Altus, Ignis, Polar).
