Von UKOME verabschiedet: 34 Tausend 783 weitere E-Scooter wurden in Istanbul zugelassen
In Istanbul, the permissible number for operating electric scooters has been increased. At the meeting of the Transport Coordination Center (UKOME) of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), companies wishing to operate electric scooters within the city limits were granted permission for 34,783 electric scooters. The city-wide regulation proposal for e-scooters was unanimously adopted at the meeting chaired by the Deputy Secretary-General of IMM, Gürkan Akgün.
While the number of e-scooters operated throughout Istanbul was 27,782, this number increased to 34,783. Following district distribution, the number of electric scooters is as follows:
