Fenerbahçe will face Greek side Olympiacos in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League quarterfinals away from home. The match at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium was announced by the Swiss Football Association and will be officiated by Sandro Scharer. The game will be broadcast live on Exxen.
Fenerbahçe, who finished first in Group H of the UEFA European Conference League and directly advanced to the round of 16, faced Belgian team Union Saint-Gilloise and secured a spot in the quarterfinals despite a 0-1 home loss, winning the away leg 3-0.
Just like in the previous round, the yellow and navy blue team aims for a favorable away result this time as well, targeting the semifinals. Due to Fenerbahçe’s penalty, the yellow and navy blue fans won’t be able to attend the match in the stands.
The return leg of the match will take place on Thursday, April 18, at the Ülker Stadium.
