Galatasaray will face VavaCars Fatih Karagümrük in the quarterfinal match of the Turkish Ziraat Cup. The game at RAMS Park will kick off at 8:45 PM. The Arda brothers will officiate the match. The game will be broadcasted on ATV.
Galatasaray, starting in the cup as the 5th seed, defeated Trendyol 1. Lig representative Ümraniyespor 4-1, then went on to beat Teksüt Bandırmaspor from the same league 4-2 in the round of 16, advancing to the quarterfinals.
Fatih Karagümrük, participating from the 4th category in the tournament, eliminated TFF representatives Belediye Derincespor and Kırklarelispor from the 2. Lig, as well as Trendyol Super League team Yılport Samsunspor.
The group reaches the quarterfinals, played in a single match format, and will face Trabzonspor in the semifinals.
Galatasaray’s Moroccan Hakim Ziyech, who returned injured from the African Cup of Nations, and the new transfer from Ivory Coast, Serge Aurier, will not be able to play in the match against Fatih Karagümrük. The injured Ndombele will also be missing from the team.
The status of Rohten and Koray Günter in Fatih Karagümrük is unknown.
