In Ankara, Minister of the Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, dismissed a total of 69 police officers who worked as private secretaries and guards for his four assistants. It is worth noting that no replacements were made for the dismissed police officers. According to T24, an unexpected operation was carried out at the Ministry of the Interior this evening. Bülent Turan, who worked as a deputy minister alongside Minister Ali Yerlikaya, dismissed the police officer who worked in the offices of Münir Karaloğlu, Mehmet Aktaş, and Ramazan Sağlam. The deployment permits of 69 police officers belonging to the security department team, one of the central units of the General Directorate of Security, who were temporarily working in the personal offices and for the protection of the respective deputy ministers, were terminated. It is noteworthy that only two police officers remained for each of the four deputy ministers, one as a driver and the other as a guard. Due to the unexpected process for deputy ministers, the Ministry experienced hectic hours. Meanwhile, the withdrawal process from the Ministry of the Interior led to the re-emergence of the cabinet reshuffle expectations set by President Erdoğan due to the weekend.
