Ein seltsamer Sorgerechtsstreit: Wessen Zwillinge sind sie?
Yonca K. and Feramuz G. had an emotional affair for a while. Feramuz G. registered the twins of a surrogate mother in Georgia under Yonca K.’s name using forged documents. Yonca K. filed a report stating that she was not the mother of the twins. A prison sentence of up to three years was requested for Feramuz G. Official documents indicated that after the emotional connection between Yonca K., who lives in Istanbul, and businessman Feramuz G., Feramuz G. agreed with a woman in Georgia on the surrogacy process prohibited in Turkey. Feramuz G. planned to present Yonca K. as the mother of the twins and allegedly forced Yonca K. to sign a surrogacy contract. With this contract, Feramuz G. brought the children to Turkey and named Yonca K. as the mother of the children. Yonca K. filed a lawsuit to prove that she was not the biological mother of the children, and Feramuz G. presented Yonca K. as the mother of the twins with official documents. Out of fear of vigilante justice, he wants to change his identity. Upon Yonca K.’s complaint, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit against Feramuz G. for „altering the lineage of the child“ and requested a prison sentence ranging from one to three years. DNA tests confirmed that Yonca K. was not the mother of the twins. Yonca K. requested the confidentiality of her identity information as she would be in danger if she were listed as the mother of the children in official records and if her family found out about this situation.
